OUR PORTER STYLE SHOCK ASSEMBLIES COME IN UNLIMITED TRAVEL AND OVERALL LENGTH. THESE ARE THE SAME SHOCKS USED ON AIRCRAFT LIKE THE JUST AIRCRAFT SUPER STOL AND REV-3 BACK COUNTRY SUPERCUBS. THESE ARE ALSO POPULAR ON MANY OTHER CUSTOMER CONVERTED AIRCRAFT SUCH AS THE PRODUCER.

THESE SHOCKS ARE DESIGNED FOR LANDING GEAR WITH A CENTER PIVOT MOUNTING STYLE. SHOCKS GENERALLY UPPER MOUNT TO THE A PILLAR NEAR THE WINDOW OR DOOR AND LOWER MOUNT WIDE ON THE GEAR LEG CLOSE TO THE WHEEL.

THESE SHOCKS COME IN A RANGE OF DIAMETERS BASED ON MOUNTING LOCATION AND AIRCRAFT WEIGHT.

1.75" SHOCKS ARE USED FOR LIGHTER AIRCRAFT WITH A 1000 LBS GROSS. MOST ULTRALITE AIRCRAFT USE THIS SIZE.

2.0" SHOCKS ARE USED ON MOST LSA AIRCRAFT WITH A 1320 LBS GROSS WEIGHT.
EXAMPLES WOULD BE A JUST AIRCRAFT SUPER STOL EARLY MODEL 750 LBS EMPTY WEIGHT.

2.25" SHOCKS ARE USED ON MOST AIRCRAFT WITH A 900 LBS EMPTY WEIGHT.
EXAMPLES WOULD BE A SUPER STOL WITH A 914.

2.50" SHOCKS ARE USED ON MOST AIRCRAFT WITH A 1200 LBS EMPTY WEIGHT. EXAMPLES WOULD BE A SUPER STOL XL WITH A TITAN 340 OR A REV 3 BACK COUNTRY SUPERCUB.

2.75" SHOCKS ARE USED ON MOST AIRCRAFT WITH A 1500 LBS EMPTY WEIGHT. EXAMPLES WOULD BE A REV 3 BACK COUNTRY SUPERCUB FLYING AT MAX WEIGHT DURING EXTREME OFF AIRPORT ACTION.

OUR ULTIMATE CABANE VEE TYPE SUSPENSION USED ON ALL OUR CONVERSION LANDING GEAR USE THE SAME TYPE SHOCK STRUTS. THESE SHOCKS COME IN DIFFERENT DIAMETERS FOR YOUR AIRCRAFT'S GROSS WEIGHT AND USAGE.

THESE SHOCK STRUTS ARE FULLY ADJUSTABLE FOR LENGTH SO THEY'LL FIT MOST ANY AIRCRAFT USING A CABANE VEE. JUST PICK THE THE SHOCK DIAMETER FOR YOUR AIRCRAFT WEIGHT, AND WE'LL TAKE CARE OF THE REST.
