If you have bungees that install to the bottom of the seat frames, you'll either need new factory cabane style gear legs, Shock Monster cabane gear legs, or modify your existing legs. Simple......we convert the tension motion that occurs during landing and turn that into a compression motion with the use of the frames. Then the shocks manage the force and rebound energy to keep you on the ground and in control. Nitogen sets your taxi height and oil does the dampening.Kitfox shocks come in 2 diameters:If you have a Kitfox 1-4 with a light weight motor package and an empty weight of 750 lbs or less and fly 1200 gross or less, you need the 1.75" shock package.If you have a Kitfox 5-7 with a heavier motor and empty weight of 750 lbs or more and fly 1550 or less, you need the 2.0" shock package.The clevis ends are designed for an AN-6 bolt. This is the correct size bolt for the load these shocks can take. Your Kitfox likely has smaller bolts.
